WHEN YOU GET THERE - PLEASE TAKE NOTE
Upon arrival at Jakarta Airport, please meet the “Just Dreaming” driver representative inside the international airport arrivals hall at gate 2, in front of Dunkum Donuts store. If the representative is not there please wait until he arrives to pick you up.
You will then be transferred from Jakarta Airport for the approximate two and a half hour journey to the marina located at the coastal town of Anyer in west java, there will be a stop along the way at a supermarket where you can purchase refreshments, film or any chocolate or snack foods that you may wish to have for your days at sea.
On your arrival at Anyer you will be met by your hosts who will go through the safety procedures and the do’s and don’ts aboard the boat.
He may then direct you to a local bar or restaurant to relax and have a meal or drink (please note this is not included in the cost of the tour) while the crew takes your luggage to the boat and finalises details for your departure.
Once everything is loaded you will board “Just Dreaming” and depart Anyer that evening on high tide for the overnight trip to get to the first surf break early am next morning.
SurfYou will surf breaks such as One Palm Point – Croc’n’Roll – Illusions – Napalms – SS – and Dave’s Place, most of these breaks are only accessible by boat.
A decision will be made on the day before your trip concludes to what the group prefers to do. If there is no surf we can sail to the volcano of Krakatoa which is still active, but as this will take most of the day to reach please be prepared to miss out on surfing this day.
From here you return for the trip back to Anyer, arriving late at night, the next morning you will be transferred back to Jakarta airport for your connecting flight or ongoing itinerary.
“Just Dreaming” is a 50ft. cutter rig ketch, powered by a 98hp ford diesel, she is equipped with GPS, vhf/hf/27 meg radios, 240v generator, stereo, tv & vcr, fridge/freezer, safety equipment, first aid kit, air conditioned dormitory style accommodation, tender & outboard, snorkeling & fishing gear.
Your package includes
Return transfers from/to Jakarta airport to/from Anyer, on the departure and return days of the charter, charter accommodation, 3 hearty meals per day, soft drinks and water, cordial, tea/coffee. and plenty of snacks fruit etc. government permits, the surf levy fee payable to the Indonesian national parks and use of recreational equipment on board.
Cold beer is available but not included in your package. It can be bought whilst on board.
Your own travel insurance is mandatory for all travel arrangements and must include unlimited medical cover incorporate medical evacuation.
Please ensure that you still have at least 6 months validity on your passports after the date you expect to arrive back into Australia from your travels.
